The Buller Gorge is on the West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand. The event is operated out of Westport, which is in the Buller District.
Buller Gorge Marathon
The Buller Gorge marathon and half marathon is one of New Zealand's most scenic marathon courses.
The race commences at Hawkes Crag and heads up the gorge to Berlins, then back down the scenic Buller Gorge Highway to a finish at Victoria Square, Westport. The half marathon is a one-way run starting near the Ohikaiti River Bridge and also finishing at Victoria Square. Both full and half marathon courses are certified.
The event will have some great performance prizes and spot prizes up for grabs including: A holiday for two on the Gold Coast, overseas travel vouchers and Fisher and Paykel appliances.
