Gold Mine Tours

Come join us for this unique experience to visit a real working gold mine.

Kit up in hard hart, hi-vis vest and safety glasses and come with us up to Oceana Gold's hardrock gold mine, right in the heart of Victoria Conservation Park.

This fantastic tour gives you a taste of the past and the present - take in the memorabilia at Reefton and Blacks Point as well as visiting todays gold mining operation surrounded by breathtaking views of the rugged Paparoa and Victoria Ranges.  

Travel is in our new, air-conditioned 4WD coach, specifically designed for mine conditions.

During summer scheduled tours operate 1.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but there are some variations so please check the tour schedule.   Full Tour Schedule

We can often provide a tour at times outside this schedule and group bookings are welcomed.  We have developed special tours for school groups catering for ages from 5 years through to Year 13 - refer to our 'School Groups' web page.
