We were born and bred in the Westport area and are very proud of our West Coast heritage.  Havenlee is very centrally located in Westport and just minutes from the Tasman Sea, beaches and the Buller River, an idyllic base from which to explore the environmental wonderland, share local knowledge or just take time out.  Check out the numerous adventure experiences, local attractions and heritage sites.  Soak up the nature to rest and restore body and soul.  As our guest you will enjoy a continental-plus breakfast and/or a cooked option as well, all made with locally sourced produce wherever possible.

Drive 1.5 hours north to Karamea, spend the day, and take a guided tour of your choice to the amazing Oparara Valley.

The Pancake Rocks and Blowholes are just a 50 minute drive south from Westport.  Stop off at the Truman Track for an unforgettable 20 minute walk through the rain forest.

For stunning coastal views take a 15 minute drive from Westport to the Seal Colony at Cape Foulwind/Tauranga Bay via Carters Beach.

The Denniston Experience is a new attraction to Buller and is of particular interest to railway, engineering and mining enthusiasts.
